Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do when using Activity Maker (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to this AUP. Violations may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, suspension, or account termination.

The Short Version

Activity Maker exists to help you create original, kid-friendly printable activities. Do not use it to infringe anyone's intellectual property, generate harmful or inappropriate content, mislead learners, or abuse the platform.

Prohibited Content

You may not upload, generate, or attempt to generate:

  • Copyrighted characters or intellectual property you do not own. This includes uploading or describing characters owned by third parties — for example Disney, Marvel, Nintendo, Pokémon, or any other studio, publisher, or brand — with the intent of reproducing them. Uploaded character images are automatically scanned, and flagged uploads are rejected or queued for review.
  • Trademarks, logos, and brand marks belonging to others.
  • NSFW, sexual, or adult content of any kind. The Service creates materials for children; this is strictly enforced.
  • Violent, hateful, or harmful content, including content that promotes self-harm, harassment, discrimination, or dangerous activities.
  • Misleading educational content — deliberately incorrect facts, answers, or instructional material presented as accurate, or content designed to deceive educators, parents, or children.
  • Content depicting real people without their consent.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Automate or script usage beyond normal human use, including bots, scrapers, bulk generation tools, or attempts to circumvent rate limits (including the anonymous try-it limit).
  • Resell, share, or transfer credits or account access. Accounts and credits are personal to you (or your organization on team plans).
  • Circumvent moderation, including re-uploading rejected images, prompt manipulation to evade safety filters, or splitting infringing requests across generations.
  • Reverse engineer, probe, or attack the Service, including attempts to extract underlying models, prompts, or other users' data.
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law, including intellectual property, consumer protection, and child safety laws.

Marketplace Responsibility

If you publish or sell exported content (for example on Amazon KDP or Teachers Pay Teachers), you are solely responsible for verifying that your content complies with that marketplace's policies and with applicable law. Activity Maker validates technical formatting (dimensions, DPI, bleed) — not the legal status of your content.

Enforcement

We use a combination of automated scanning (including Google Cloud Vision analysis of uploads) and manual review to enforce this policy:

  1. First violation: content removed, written warning.
  2. Second violation: temporary account suspension.
  3. Third violation: permanent account termination without refund.

Severe violations (NSFW content involving minors, illegal content) result in immediate termination and, where required, reports to authorities.

Reporting Violations

To report content that violates this policy, contact us at the support email in our Terms of Service. For copyright complaints, please use the process described in our DMCA Policy.

Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
